Founded in 1993, Danay Engineering Ltd. (DEL) offers a highly specialized array of forensic engineering services, including condition surveys, failure investigations, due diligence, claims and litigation support.  

Dr. Ari Danay, P.Eng., the principal of DEL, is a structural engineer with over 25 years experience in Canada, US and UK, performing structural investigations for forensic engineering, safety analyses, and rehabilitation applications. His field of expertise, in which he has authored several technical papers in international journals, is structural mechanics and its applications to computer modeling, development of innovative analytical and experimental techniques, in-situ and laboratory testing, and structural instrumentation monitoring.

As an integral part of the investigation process, DEL makes extensive use of its in-house computer simulation facilities. When field or laboratory testing are required, DEL has access to a broad spectrum of experimental facilities within the Metro Toronto area, such as the Civil Engineering laboratory of the University of Toronto.
